Position Responsibilities:

- May assume charge nurse responsibilities under RN oversight, which may include:
- Providing shift reports to incoming staff.
- Offering clinical and supervisory oversight during shifts.
- Delegating assignments to the team for the shift.
- Auditing and ensuring completion of admissions or discharges during shifts with RN co-signature.
- Attending rounds (wound, physician, etc.).
- If acting as charge nurse, may develop patient care assignments and contribute to performance evaluations and staff education on policies and procedures.
- The above outlines the primary responsibilities of the position but does not exclude other duties that align with the level of the role. Completes special projects as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
- Current Massachusetts LPN license in good standing.
- Previous experience preferred.
- Understanding of and support for the care model at Hebrew SeniorLife required.
- Must be a professional, proactive, collaborative, conscientious, and results-oriented individual with a positive demeanor.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong intuition, and adaptability to changing priorities.
