Compassionate Homecare Assistant Needed:

We are seeking a Compassionate Homecare Assistant to join our team at Kind Care Services. In this role, you will provide personalized care to patients in their homes, with a focus on building genuine relationships and creating a healthy environment.

Job Overview:

This is a full-time position that requires working closely with patients and their families to deliver high-quality care. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong commitment to compassion and quality care.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Patient Care: Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles.
  2. Household Management: Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care.
  3. Record Keeping: Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor.
  4. Mental Stimulation: Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert.
  5. Medication Reminders: Give medication reminders to patients.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • One year of prior professional experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is a plus.
