Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Therapist III to join our team at Reno Behavioral Healthcare Hospital. As a key member of our interdisciplinary treatment team, you will provide high-quality care to patients and their families, utilizing your expertise in group therapy, treatment planning, and crisis intervention.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized plans of care, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, as well as crisis intervention and family therapy, to address patients' unique needs.
  • Document treatment progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to established guidelines and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with all treatment plan requirements, including regular review and updates with patients and the treatment team.
  • Develop and implement discharge plans, ensuring a smooth transition for patients and their families.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance skills and knowledge in areas such as case management, documentation, and crisis intervention.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in social work or a related field.
  • Current Nevada Clinical license (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, etc.) required.
  • Current Nevada Master Social Work License (LMSW) and Clinical Social Work Internship (CSW-I) or Clinical Professional Counselor Intern License (CPC-I) accepted.
  • CPR and CPI certification prior to completion of new hire orientation.
