- Facilitates the opening of deposit accounts, processes teller transactions, accepts loan applications, addresses customer inquiries, resolves issues, and identifies cross-sell opportunities as necessary.
- Ensures all transactions are conducted in accordance with established guidelines and prepares all required documentation accurately.
- Handles incoming calls, taking messages, directing calls, or providing assistance to customers as required.
- Evaluates and approves loans within designated limits or refers them to the appropriate lender for further approval.
- Participates in cross-training across various departments to provide support as needed, ensuring high-quality customer service.
- Contributes to a collaborative team environment within the branch by attending meetings, engaging in discussions, treating colleagues with respect, and working towards departmental objectives.
- Possesses a comprehensive understanding of banking regulations related to deposit and loan products.
- Ensures all documentation for new loan and deposit accounts is complete and compliant with policies.
- Keeps a well-organized and adequately stocked workspace.
- Adheres to bank policies, procedures, goals, and objectives, maintaining confidentiality for customer information.
