Hotel Front Desk Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests and provide information about the check-in process.
  • Assist guests with check-in, room location, and resolving issues with door codes or entry.
  • Communicate with guests through phone calls and internal messaging systems.
  • Respond to guest requests for additional services or amenities.
  • Clean and maintain common areas.
  • Perform a periodic property walk to assist guests and address concerns.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in in-person customer service.
  • Previous sales experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable using technology such as smartphones and tablets.
  • Friendly and outgoing demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and stay focused.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and climb stairs.
