A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Supervisor to join our team in Flint, MI. This is a full-time position working in a hospital setting with a Fortune 500 company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory science and experience in supervising laboratory staff. The Laboratory Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the assigned laboratory section(s), planning daily work schedules, and ensuring that work is done and reported promptly and accurately. The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring department turnaround times, investigating and implementing corrective action, and monitoring inventory and ordering supplies. Additionally, the Laboratory Supervisor will serve as a technical resource to subordinates, resolving complex problems, and investigating and recommending corrective actions in response to incident reports and/or patient complaints. The ideal candidate will have a Board Certified Cytotechnologist CT and/or Histotechnologist with a minimum of 3 years' experience, 5 years' experience preferred or Specialist in Cytology SCT. A Bachelor's Degree in the field of Laboratory Science is also required. **Key Responsibilities:**

* Oversees the day-to-day operations of the assigned laboratory section(s)
* Plans daily work schedules and assignments for section(s)
* Ensures testing operates efficiently and effectively

* Ensures the attainment of objectives through developing, training, and evaluating lab staff

**Requirements:**

* Board Certified Cytotechnologist CT and/or Histotechnologist with a minimum of 3 years' experience
* 5 years' experience preferred or Specialist in Cytology SCT
* Bachelor's Degree in the field of Laboratory Science
* Completion of MT/MLS medical laboratory science/CLS clinical laboratory science internship MT ASCP or equivalent

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Five years of experience in a diversified hospital laboratory health system and previous supervisory experience
