About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Welder and Assembler to join our team at EBM. In this critical role, you will be responsible for carrying out fabrication and welding work, including inspection, planning, preparation, cutting, and checking/testing to fabricate, repair, maintain, and install metal items. Your ability to meet safety standards, targets, set criteria, and deadlines while maximizing productivity and profitability will make you an excellent fit for this position.

Key Job Functions:
  1. Carry out strenuous physical labor primarily indoors and occasionally under non-environmentally controlled shop conditions.
  2. Lay out, position, and secure parts and assemblies according to specifications.
  3. Cut workpieces using various methods, including CNC machines, powered saws, hand shears, or chipping knives.
  4. Operate tools and equipment for tack-welds or weld components and assemblies.
  5. Work within precise limits and standards of accuracy.
  6. Inspect grooves, angles, or gap allowances using precision measuring instruments.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • High School graduate or G.E.D.
  • Safe operation of fabrication and machine shop machinery and equipment.
  • Ability to locate and mark workpiece bending and cutting lines.
  • Proficiency in welding various materials.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is $40,000 - $60,000 per year, providing a competitive compensation package. Regular working hours are 8 hours a day with occasional overtime as needed.
