Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interior Designer/Interior Architect to join our team at Multistudio Inc. in Kansas City. As a key member of our workplace design team, you will be responsible for developing and executing design solutions for projects under the direction of leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute design solutions for projects, including programming client needs, conceptual and schematic design, construction drawings, and construction administration.
  • Coordinate designs with consultants, furniture dealers, product reps, building and permitting officials, and other outside parties to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Work with Project Architects and project teams to manage client expectations and ensure design intent is accurately interpreted in documents.
  • Contribute to the advancement of the build environment and tackle unique and untried projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture.
  • Minimum of 7 years relevant experience in interior design/interior architecture.
  • Proficiency in Revit and rendering software.
  • Understanding of construction process, materials, material costs, furniture, lighting, systems integration/coordination, time limits, and production.
  • Familiarity with Google Sketchup, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships, multitask, problem-solve, and be adaptable per client needs.
