Job Summary:

Devereux Pennsylvania Children's Services (DPACS) is seeking a Part-Time Food Services Specialist to support our cafeteria located on our West Chester campus. In this role, you will work in a school cafeteria setting serving and preparing meals for children receiving Behavioral health services in a school and residential setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food based on nutritional requirements and guidelines
  • Serve food to students and staff in the serving line and prepare take-out meals as needed
  • Wash dishes and clean up of tables and floors in the cafeteria as needed
  • Record documentation related to special diets and intake as indicated
  • Record and document temperatures
  • Work under 30 hours per week

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED and Certification by County Board of Health required
  • 1 year experience in food preparation and must be able to lift at least 50lbs

Devereux Pennsylvania Children's Services (DPACS) center serves children, adolescents, and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional, and psychiatric challenges and disorders. Our services include psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF), acute inpatient psychiatric hospital (AIP), assessment services, community-based mental health services, community-based employment training, and social skills training.
