Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team at MACT Health Board, Inc. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of Native Americans and contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive primary health care services to Native Americans, including general medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, and family planning.
  • Evaluate and treat acute injuries and illnesses, as well as provide preventative health services.
  • Conduct thorough physical examinations, assess normal and abnormal findings, and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Recognize cases that require specialized consultation and collaborate with Medical Director and/or clinic physician to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Arrange follow-up lab work, x-rays, and appointments with other specialists, as needed.
  • Order and furnish medications and devices according to standardized procedures and regulations.
  • Participate in after-hours call groups and provide education to patients and families on health promotion, risk management, and disease prevention.
  • Maintain and enhance professional knowledge and skills through continuing education courses and adhere to licensure requirements.
  • Act as a resource for staff and community in area of expertise and contribute to Quality Assurance Committee.
  • Perform other administrative and QA activities as needed.

Requirements:

  • Current California license as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
  • CPR certification.
  • Occupational Health Screening.
  • Valid form of identification (listed on U.S. Department of Justice I-9 form).
  • Clean DMV driving record and MACT auto insurance driving eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year supervisory experience in ambulatory clinic or equivalent.

MACT Health Board, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer and offers a competitive salary range of $147,451-$177,653 annually.

The successful candidate will be working in Mariposa, California, and Sonora, California locations, serving the communities in Mariposa, Amador, Calaveras, and Tuolumne Counties.
