Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including IV solutions and compounds.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of medication use and monitoring.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide patient-centered care and education.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest pharmaceutical knowledge and technologies.
- Graduation from a recognized school of pharmacy.
- Licensure with the State of Alabama to practice pharmacy.
- Controlled Substances certificate.
- Completion of an approved Alabama Board of Pharmacy IV certification program within three months of employment.
