As a Neonatologist with Pediatrix, you will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art, 46-bed Level-III single patient room NICU, providing high-quality care to critically ill newborns and their families.
Responsibilities- Provide routine daytime care to critically ill newborns, including those requiring high-frequency ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide, and total body cooling with 24-hour video EEG
- Attend very-high risk deliveries, including those under 27 weeks and major anomalies
- Collaborate with a skilled team of NNPs, procedural nursing staff, and pediatric sub-specialists to provide comprehensive care to newborns and their families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines
- BC/BE in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
- At least 3 years of experience in neonatal care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
