We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatologist to join our team at Pediatrix Medical Group in Springfield, MO. As a Neonatologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill newborns and their families.
About the Role:- Provide routine daytime care to critically ill newborns in our state-of-the-art, 46-bed Level-III single patient room NICU
- Attend high-risk deliveries and provide all aspects of AAP Level III care, including high-frequency ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide, and total body cooling with 24-hour video EEG
- Collaborate with a team of skilled NNPs, procedural nursing staff, and pediatric sub-specialists to provide comprehensive care to our patients
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines
- Our NICU is a Level-III, single patient room unit with a daily census of 25, split between 1-2 neos and 1-2 NNPs
- We have a high-frequency ventilation program, inhaled nitric oxide, and total body cooling with 24-hour video EEG
- Our NICU is equipped with the latest technology, including bedside US machines and donor milk with in-unit milk tech preparation
