Shift Time: 6am – 2:30pm, M – F
Position Summary: The Inventory Receiving Specialist plays a crucial role in managing incoming shipments of stock and inventory. As the first point of contact for received goods, this position is responsible for unloading, inspecting, and ensuring that all ordered products are accounted for.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently unload and unpack incoming shipments of products.
- Conduct thorough inspections of shipments to identify any damage or discrepancies in quantities.
- Notify the relevant personnel regarding any damages or shortages found.
- Verify shipments against their corresponding purchase orders and accurately document receiving information.
- Organize and prepare received stock for inventory management.
- Return any damaged items to the respective senders.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving is preferred.
- Physical capability to lift and carry 50 pounds or more.
- Ability to remain on feet for extended periods.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations.
