Position Overview

The Quality Control Technician plays a vital role in operational support, focusing on quality assurance, interdepartmental collaboration, and compliance with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Quality Control (QC) analyses on all necessary raw materials, processes, finished products, and waste samples.
  • Maintain accurate records for sample retention and quality documentation.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all laboratory equipment.
  • Interpret analytical results, document data, and input findings into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
  • Collect water samples for testing and assist in gathering information for regulatory permitting.
  • Ensure LIMS is updated with precise data entries.
  • Manage inventory levels of laboratory consumables and reagents.
EHS Responsibilities:

Engage in inspections and audits as assigned, participate in Hazard Reviews as necessary, recommend safety enhancements, complete safety action items as directed, fulfill required regulatory training, and adhere to all relevant regulations.

Qualifications:

An Associate degree in a Science-related field is preferred, or a High School Diploma/GED with 3-5 years of industrial experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, is essential. Candidates should be willing to work approved overtime as needed.
