Job Title: Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Richmond, VA. As a Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to fill a 13-week travel assignment in our Progressive Care Unit. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients, develop your clinical skills, and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Virginia.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Progressive Care Unit or similar setting.
  • Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) certification preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
