Job Description

Star Communication Inc. (SCI) is seeking a highly skilled Document Scanning Technical Lead to oversee the digitization of paper-based records. The successful candidate will ensure the conversion of hard copy documents into 508-compliant, searchable, compressed PDF files and upload them to a secure OneDrive.

The Technical Lead will be responsible for delivering digitization conversion from paper-based records to electronic searchable PDF file(s). This will involve ensuring the digitization project tasks are completed in strict conformance and delivering positive outcomes as requested by SCI.

Contingent upon agreement with the client, documents can be picked up at a secure location. Once the record preparation phase is complete, each record file action folder that includes paper files and other sensitive information documents will be directed to the Record Scanning Technician Lead.

The Record Scanning Technician Lead will process, check, and approve to ensure the completeness of the files action folder (including all required documentation based on the page number) needed to continue. Immediately following this process, the paper-based contract files will be routed to the Record Scanning Technician Lead and scanned to ADOBE PDF and indexed according to standard operating procedures of SCI for Indexing.

We will perform a data assessment and aggregation by establishing access to any metadata, documentation, cataloging, or inventory description to be used to facilitate the digitization process. We will coordinate and implement quality assurance, quality control, verification, and validation of the records to be digitized or securely shredded.
