Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant I to join our team. As a Medical Assistant I, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical staff in a fast-paced primary care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of patient care under the clinical supervision of a Physician/Advanced Practice Provider.
- Perform clinical duties skillfully and consistently, adhering to established clinical policy and procedure.
- Collaborate with licensed clinical personnel to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
Requirements:
- High school diploma required.
- Either a graduate of an accredited MA school or a current MA certification.
- Minimum 1-year experience in outpatient pediatric practice or equivalent family practice outpatient preferred.
- National certification preferred.
- Current CPR certification required.
