Overview

Estimated Salary

$60,000 - $80,000 per year (dependent on experience)

Responsibilities

As a Clinical Care Specialist at ViaQuest Hospice, your primary focus will be on delivering holistic care to patients and their loved ones. This will involve:

  • Providing emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
  • Assuming primary responsibility for patient caseloads, including assessments, planning, and implementation
  • Administering medications and instructing patients on proper administration
  • Collaborating with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and agencies to coordinate patient care
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and progress notes
Requirements

To excel as a Clinical Care Specialist at ViaQuest Hospice, you must possess:

  • A minimum of an associate's degree or equivalent in nursing from an accredited program
  • An active RN license
  • Nursing experience, preferably in hospice care
  • A valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation
  • The willingness to travel throughout assigned service areas
