UCHealth is seeking a highly skilled Charge Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at the Highlands Ranch Hospital. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care, leading a team of nurses, and promoting a culture of excellence and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practice.
- Lead a team of nurses in providing high-quality patient care and promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient care and unit operations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of unit policies and procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
- At least 1 year of nursing experience, with a strong background in Labor and Delivery.
- EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification within 1 year of hire.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications.
