Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to support the Applied Research area at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing financial performance of various R&D contracts from contract award through closeout.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze weekly/monthly financial status reports to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  • Develop and manage contract budgets and EACs to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and analyze contract funding status and perform performance variance analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare quarterly CSR data/charts, including projections of orders, sales, profit, and cash, to support business decision-making.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual Long Range Plan to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate with Contracts employees to facilitate contract awards and ensure necessary contract mods are executed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in finance, cost control, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and direction.
  • Knowledge of LM MFC business processes and estimating knowledge.
  • Ability to obtain secret clearance.
