Position Overview:

This role reports directly to the Director of Sales US and is crucial in supporting various sales functions within the organization. The Customer Service Representative will manage all order processing for the US office and assist territory managers in growing their business by providing outbound calling, conducting customer research, generating sales reports, and preparing necessary documentation. The CSR plays a vital role in aiding Territory Managers and Sales Management in all aspects of client acquisition, customer support, and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process orders received via email, phone, fax, and mail promptly.
  • Monitor all open Purchase Orders and communicate with Territory Managers regarding their status.
  • Input the majority of orders into the ERP system and verify open orders, contacting customers as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Credit Department to resolve customer issues, including order releases and billing inquiries.
  • Maximize order volume and value through upselling opportunities.
  • Coordinate the onboarding of new customers and manage required documentation.
  • Provide comprehensive sales and service support to customers and Territory Managers.
  • Assist Territory Managers with CRM system management and updates.
  • Respond to inquiries related to pricing, products, delivery, and customer service opportunities.
  • Engage in all sales team activities, including meetings and events.
  • Contribute to the creation of content for social media and ensure timely postings.
  • Serve as a member of the terminal Safety team as the Sales liaison.
  • Perform other administrative duties as required.

Education & Experience:

  • Post-secondary education and/or relevant business experience.
  • 3-5 years of prior experience in customer service preferred.
  • Experience in sales, particularly in customer service or sales marketing.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Consultative selling approach.
  • Experience with CRM systems is preferred.
