Toddler Program Lead Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Toddler Program Lead to join our team at Imaginative Beginnings Early Learning Center. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for leading a toddler program that fosters the growth and development of young children.

Program Overview:

  • Implement a comprehensive curriculum that addresses the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical needs of toddlers.
  • Establish a safe and nurturing environment that promotes exploration and learning.
  • Maintain open communication with families and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to childcare.
  • Monitor and report on children's progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for support.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of toddlers.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members to ensure a cohesive and high-quality program.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless transitions and effective communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education and apply new knowledge to improve program quality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with toddlers in a developmental setting.
  • CPR, First Aid, and Child Abuse Prevention training certifications.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Estimated Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000 per year.
