Lead Special Education Behavioral Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team at New Story Schools. As a Lead Special Education Behavioral Strategist, you will play a crucial role in helping students with special needs achieve their full potential.
About the RoleThis is an exceptional opportunity for a BCBA to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students and families. You will work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement behavioral strategies that promote academic success, social skills, and emotional well-being.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of students to identify learning and behavioral needs, and develop personalized programming plans.
- Create Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP), as well as social skills and skill-based assessments.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop IEP goals focused on behavior reduction, replacement behaviors, and data collection methods.
- Provide direct and indirect behavioral services, interventions, instruction, and supervision to students, teachers, and support staff in individual and group settings.
- Oversee one or more students' ABA programs in the classroom, including supervision of paraprofessionals working directly with students.
- Supervise assigned Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs), and other support staff, ensuring they meet BACB guidelines.
- Analyze student progress, delivering daily progress notes to the school and families, and using data analysis to drive adjustments.
- Develop and deliver professional development programs for classroom staff, focusing on Response to Intervention (RTI) and Behavioral Skills Training (BST).
- Active Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Master's degree in psychology, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related fields
We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
