Job Summary

At Modern Animal, we're seeking a skilled Veterinary Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our veterinary care team, you'll work closely with our veterinarians and veterinary technicians to deliver exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with animal exams, handling, and restraint
  • Record accurate medical records using veterinary terminology
  • Support medical team members with appointments, x-rays, lab work, and other procedures
  • Perform lab work and radiology as needed
  • Collaborate with DVMs and coworkers to provide excellent patient care
  • Communicate discharge instructions with owners
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your team leader
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience working as a Veterinary Assistant
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
  • Excellent client communication and teamwork skills
