Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and fluoroscopy, to obtain high-quality images.
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and exposure techniques to obtain optimal results.
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, adhering to safety standards and protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, prioritizing their comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and image files, adhering to confidentiality and security standards.
- Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Perform equipment inspections and report any malfunctions or safety concerns to the appropriate authorities.
- Active ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- Valid Florida Radiologic Technologist license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Familiarity with GE, Siemens, or other radiology equipment is preferred
