We are seeking an experienced Extrusion Machine Operator to join our team at Pactiv Evergreen in Manteno, Illinois. As an Extrusion Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our extrusion lines, ensuring high-quality production and efficient processing.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain extrusion lines, including edge trim grinders, pull roll stand, silicon coater, and winder.
- Handle OPS roll stock from the winder into the slitter and then to WIP racking systems.
- Perform quality control lab testing for OPS sheet, SPC control charting, and QA/S computer skills.
- Assist in recycling scrap OPS sheet and assist the Operator C (Specialist) in threading up the entire orienteer line.
- Interface with computer control systems and quality lab instruments and QA/S systems.
- Develop a good working knowledge of the equipment, controls, safety features, and operating procedures of all repel lines to ensure safe operation.
- Monitor vital functions of repel lines, perform screen changes, controlled shut downs, and emergency shut downs.
- Perform required Lockout/Tagout Procedures and assist with line maintenance when possible.
- Call help chain when required and participate in safety programs.
- Must be knowledgeable of SAP and Lift Truck certified in a Manufacturing/Production environment.
