Job Description

This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient. Your expertise and experience will enable you to take charge of patient assessments, identify potential issues, and collaborate with physicians to make informed decisions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality patient care while prioritizing patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions, treatments, and progress.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork and open communication among colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and training.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A valid RN license in the State of Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
  • At least two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
  • One year of Operating Room Circulating Nurse experience preferred.
  • Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
  • ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC certifications required for certain areas.
