We are seeking a skilled Logistics Clerk to support our client's logistics team in Lynchburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and be able to process orders, coordinate shipments, and handle import and export documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process orders and monitor delivery dates to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
  • Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics operations
  • Handle import and export documentation, including customs papers and shipping documents
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular inventory checks
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners to resolve any logistics-related issues
Requirements
  • A completed commercial education or comparable qualification, preferably with a focus on logistics
  • Professional experience in logistics or shipping is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Fluency in German, both spoken and written
