Job Overview:

Key Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 1 year of experience in kitchen maintenance, operations, or a related field, including at least one year in a supervisory role.
  • Preferred knowledge of food and beverage service operations.
  • Compliance with certification requirements relevant to the position, including Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid.
  • Familiarity with Aimbridge Hospitality policies and hospitality terminology.
  • Possession or ability to obtain Food Manager Certification as required by state regulations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Engage with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Oversee and analyze costs, breakage, and quality support for all china, glass, and silverware used in outlets, banquets, and other areas. Collaborate with the Executive Chef to maintain culinary supplies.
  • Ensure the condition and cleanliness of kitchen equipment and all kitchen areas.
  • Monitor cooking procedures, safety measures, kitchen inventory, and budget.
  • Contribute to the preparation of the annual stewarding operating budget that aligns with the objectives of the Food & Beverage Department.
  • Educate team members on current safety issues to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Report any hazardous situations, emergencies, or threats to the security of guests, employees, or hotel assets to management.
  • Establish minimum and maximum stock levels and manage the par stocks of all materials and equipment.
  • Lead, supervise, and guide the Stewarding department while conducting performance evaluations.
  • Ensure all kitchen staff perform their duties effectively.
  • Maintain the highest standards of sanitation and cleanliness across all facilities and equipment.
  • Ensure proper handling of all chemicals.
  • Participate in meetings as required.
  • Assist with additional duties as needed, which may include food dish-up and completing set-up sheets.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with other departments.
