Job Title: Inventory Cycle Counter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Inventory Cycle Counter to join our team at Astec-Yankton. As an Inventory Cycle Counter, you will be responsible for conducting physical counts of inventoried material, reconciling results with system records, and identifying root causes of count variances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct scheduled physical counts of inventoried material and generate count reports.
  • Reconcile results of physical counts with system records and identify discrepancies.
  • Determine root causes of count variances and collaborate with other departments to remediate issues.
  • Post vetted cycle count adjustments in the ERP system.
  • Analyze count variances and propose plans for rectification.
  • Prepare cumulative inventory adjustment reports and other data as required by Accounting, Material Planners, and Supply Chain.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 0-2 years of experience in physical inventory and cycle counting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel) and Epicor or Oracle ERP system.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs., walk, and stand for long periods of time.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in building cross-functional partnerships.
