Job Summary

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Inventory Cycle Counter to join our team at Astec-Yankton. As a key member of our material management team, you will be responsible for conducting physical counts of inventoried material, reconciling results with system records, and identifying root causes of count variances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct scheduled physical counts of inventoried material and generate count reports
  • Reconcile results of physical counts with system records
  • Determine root cause of count variances and collaborate with other departments to remediate issues
  • Post vetted cycle count adjustments in ERP system
  • Analyze count variances and propose plans for rectification
  • Prepare cumulative inventory adjustment reports and other data as required

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 0-2 years of experience required
  • Physical inventory and cycle counting experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel)
  • Epicor or Oracle ERP system experience
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs., walk and stand for long periods of time
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in building cross-functional partnerships
