Job Description- Gives nursing care to residents, as assigned by Head Nurse, Staff Nurse, ADNS or CNO.
- Administers and records medications and treatments, as assigned in EMR in timely manner.
- Assists with organization of nursing care for residents and/or assumes charge of unit, as assigned.
- Makes out and/or reviews assignment with special attention to delivery of care, arrival/leaving of staff on unit, even distribution of work load, and directing staff assignment according to assessed priorities.
- Attends staff meetings/in-service and participates in resident care conferences and update care plans if needed in EMR.
- Currently licensed or otherwise duly authorized to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of New York.
