Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Specialist II

At Prime Healthcare, we are committed to delivering high-quality patient care and exceptional service. As a Clinical Laboratory Specialist II, you will play a vital role in our laboratory team, ensuring accurate and timely test results that inform patient care decisions.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform a wide range of laboratory tests and procedures, including hematology, blood bank, chemistry, urinalysis, coagulation, microbiology, and immunology.
  • Operate and maintain complex laboratory equipment, including automated analyzers and microscopes.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to resolve test-related issues and ensure timely communication of results.
  • Participate in proficiency testing and quality assurance programs to maintain certification and accreditation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Valid General Supervisor license from the State of Nevada or eligibility to work while license is pending.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
