Primary Care Medical Support Specialist

Mercy is seeking a skilled Primary Care Assistant Medical Assistant or Clinic LPN to join our team. As a key member of our primary care team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our providers in their daily work.
Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for visits with providers by completing advanced standard room processes, including entering chief complaints, taking vital signs, reviewing patient history and allergies, and completing medication reconciliations.
Assist with in-office testing, including drawing blood, completing mental status exams, EKGs, walking oxygen studies, and point-of-care testing.
Administer vaccines and other injections within the scope of practice.
Schedule follow-up appointments as needed, per office policy.
Collaborate with providers and clinical care teams to monitor and coordinate the delivery of care plans.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED.
Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
Preferred experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office.
For LPN positions, LPN licensure is required.
