Job Summary

Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital is seeking a skilled Geriatric Psych Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Geriatric Psych Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care.

Responsibilities
  • Promote patient and family-centered care in a healing environment.
  • Educate patients and their families on how to manage their illness or injury, including post-treatment home care needs and medication administration.
  • Participate in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop, implement, and document individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with other members of the interprofessional team and patient, family, or caregiver.
  • Use critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care.
Requirements
  • Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree in Nursing.
  • No experience required.
  • RN licensure.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
