Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer who specializes in product assembly to join our team. As an Assembly Process Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing new manufacturing processes, equipment, and fixtures. Your expertise in CAD modeling software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks, will be essential in creating precise designs and ensuring accurate production.
You will work closely with our production team to troubleshoot processes and equipment, providing technical assistance and guidance to ensure smooth operation. Additionally, you will support process training for production employees, helping them develop the skills needed to excel in their roles.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our business, working collaboratively with leadership to identify areas for improvement and implement Lean Manufacturing methods. You will also be responsible for managing long-term capital improvement projects, supporting process development, and traveling as needed for project-related activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or related field
- Proficiency in CAD modeling software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions
