Salary:The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $65,000 - $85,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Description:The Sales Business Development Specialist plays a crucial role in establishing and maintaining profitable relationships with customers and actively prospecting new accounts to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and develop referral sources, customers, and prospects to ensure attainment of company business goals.
- Support efforts to consistently grow the base of referral sources and maintain personal productivity and quality standards.
- Actively manage short- and long-term leads from external referral sources, qualify prospects, and advance them through the sales process.
- Utilize marketing data and applicable sales management systems or tools to maximize efficiency and analyze weekly results.
- Develop an annual marketing strategy in conjunction with the EVP of Sales and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Present and discuss the products and services of Morriette Packaging Inc. to current and prospective customers, conveying a high-quality image of integrity and customer needs satisfaction.
- Develop a call schedule to cover territory adequately and provide regular reports and data on results.
- Investigate and resolve customer issues.
- Strong persuasive and interpersonal skills with a sales aptitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to maintain effective relationships with customers, prospects, coworkers, vendors, and others.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- A willingness to adhere to all principles of confidentiality.
- Ability to identify and meet customer needs and requirements.
- Must be goal-oriented, self-motivated, problem-solving, and able to work independently.
