The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $65,000 - $85,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

The Sales Business Development Specialist plays a crucial role in establishing and maintaining profitable relationships with customers and actively prospecting new accounts to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Identify and develop referral sources, customers, and prospects to ensure attainment of company business goals.
  2. Support efforts to consistently grow the base of referral sources and maintain personal productivity and quality standards.
  3. Actively manage short- and long-term leads from external referral sources, qualify prospects, and advance them through the sales process.
  4. Utilize marketing data and applicable sales management systems or tools to maximize efficiency and analyze weekly results.
  5. Develop an annual marketing strategy in conjunction with the EVP of Sales and identify opportunities for improvement.
  6. Present and discuss the products and services of Morriette Packaging Inc. to current and prospective customers, conveying a high-quality image of integrity and customer needs satisfaction.
  7. Develop a call schedule to cover territory adequately and provide regular reports and data on results.
  8. Investigate and resolve customer issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong persuasive and interpersonal skills with a sales aptitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to maintain effective relationships with customers, prospects, coworkers, vendors, and others.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • A willingness to adhere to all principles of confidentiality.
  • Ability to identify and meet customer needs and requirements.
  • Must be goal-oriented, self-motivated, problem-solving, and able to work independently.
