Your Responsibilities
Under general supervision, execute preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and replacement of HVAC mechanical systems.

Support branch leadership by coaching and mentoring technicians to enhance customer satisfaction and adhere to operational protocols.

Provide Level 1 technical assistance and contribute to the technical development of team members.

Ensure compliance with state, local, and federal regulations while upholding the highest ethical standards in all job functions.

Accurately complete all necessary project and service documentation.

How You Will Achieve This
Adhere to all safety standards set by Johnson Controls and our clients.
Provide safety leadership and guidance to all technicians.
Instruct subcontractors on safety practices related to Johnson Controls work sites.

Recognized as a leader among peers, acting as a coach and mentor within the branch.
Serve as an escalation point for technical issues and deliver on-the-job training for fellow technicians.
Offer solutions for complex system challenges through troubleshooting or advisory support.
Act as a liaison between the branch and the technical resource team for escalated issues.
Recognized as an expert in specific fields by both colleagues and clients.
Assist management in ensuring that operational disciplines are maintained by technicians.
Regularly provide feedback on training and development needs within the branch.
Help identify material requirements necessary for service delivery.

Collaborate with the Service Manager or Customer Service Agent to schedule personnel with the appropriate skills for repairs or installations.

Engage with customers upon arrival and prior to departure from the work site.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by regularly meeting with clients to understand their operational challenges.
Keep customers informed about the nature of services rendered, outstanding issues, and recommend system improvements, upgrades, or repairs.
Manage assigned tasks to ensure professional execution, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.
Provide consultancy-level services regarding building system repairs and enhancements.
Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction levels with assigned accounts.
Engage in self-directed learning (reading, research, and practice) to enhance and maintain technical skills.
Complete all required training and certifications as mandated by the company.

In addition to the technical qualifications for the role, Technical Team Leads should possess experience demonstrating strong leadership capabilities.

Ability to work independently and coordinate the efforts of other employees and contractors on customer sites.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively represent the company to clients and external contacts.
Capable of conveying technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
