Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced High-Voltage Electrical Consultant to join our team as an Electrical Safety Specialist. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical safety and NFPA 70E, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing safety controls associated with electrical work hazards, reviewing safety lock-out/tag-out procedures, and consulting on electrical safety issues and standards. You will also assist with pre-job assessments, provide electrical safety training, and maintain the company's electrical safety procedure(s).

Responsibilities:

  • Implement safety controls associated with electrical work hazards.
  • Review safety lock-out/tag-out procedures and personal protective equipment.
  • Consult on electrical safety issues and standards.
  • Assist with pre-job assessments for major electrical projects.
  • Provide electrical safety training and presentations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred; high school diploma required.
  • Journeyman Electrician strongly preferred; minimum 10 years of electrical experience.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) level knowledge of electrical safety and NFPA 70E.
  • Possess thorough understanding of Arc Flash Analysis protocols and concepts.
  • OSHA-30 certification, CPR, First-Aid, Arc Flash (NFPA 70e) certification, Fall Protection, and trench & excavation certified.
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience required.

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include a comprehensive benefits package offered by Owen Electric Company, Inc.
