In Leidos' dynamic Power Delivery Solutions organization, we're on the lookout for a skilled Senior Substation Protection and Control Engineer. Your expertise will play a vital role in leading and designing high voltage utility substation projects, collaborating with other electric utility disciplines to drive success.
We offer a hybrid schedule, allowing for 2-4 days a week in the office, providing an excellent work-life balance. This exciting opportunity enables you to design substation protection and control projects for electric utilities at voltages from 12kV up to 500kV. You'll have exposure to the intersection of renewable energy and power systems, applying knowledge of digital logic design, AC, and DC circuits to create innovative solutions.

Achieve Success in Our Challenging Role:
We're seeking candidates with a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, accompanied by four or more years of substation protection control design and/or field testing/commissioning experience. Ideal candidates will demonstrate excellent communication skills, ability to interact with internal teams and clients, read and design substation protection and control drawings, meet deadlines under pressure, and collaborate effectively in a team environment. Self-motivation, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities are essential. High computer competency and willingness to travel to project sites are also required.
