Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Developmental Therapist to join our team. As a Developmental Therapist, you will work closely with children with autism and their families to develop individualized therapy plans, setting ambitious goals that empower children to reach their full potential.

You will be responsible for teaching new skills to children in a 1:1 setting, ensuring their comprehensive growth and development. You will also engage children in play-based routines, transforming everyday moments into opportunities for teaching and nurturing essential life skills.

As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will collaborate with clinicians to design and implement individualized developmental plans, upholding the principles of the Early Start Denver Model and maintaining fidelity to Soar's model.

You will also build and maintain strong relationships with families, offering regular insights on their child's progress and providing guidance rooted in best child care practices.

Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Genuine interest and prior experience in child care roles such as daycare, nannying, or similar positions
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a talent for building connections with young children and their families
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Commitment to upholding the principles of the Early Start Denver Model and maintaining fidelity to Soar's model
