Department of History and Classics at Providence College invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship in Ancient Roman History (Republic or Early Imperial).
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate survey courses in Greek and Roman history, as well as all levels of Greek and Latin.
- Teach in the Development of Western Civilization program as part of the regular 3-3 teaching load.
- Develop and teach interdisciplinary and/or team teaching courses.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Ancient Roman History or a related field by the date of appointment.
- Ability to teach and mentor students in a diverse academic environment.
- Experience in interdisciplinary and/or team teaching is desirable.
