Job Title: Business Analyst

Vaco is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting internal teams by leading efforts in requirement gathering, specification development, project management, testing, and relationship-building within systems related to auditing, inventory, pricing, and promotions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build relationships with business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Analyze business needs to develop Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and functional specifications for project needs.
  • Conduct analysis for process improvements, system enhancements, or new solutions to drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Manage project deliverables, scope, and progress to ensure timely and successful project completion.
  • Use various retail systems (e.g., auditing, inventory, lifecycle pricing) to analyze data and make informed business decisions.
  • Assist in documentation and training material creation to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
  • Manage test script libraries for software compliance testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Triage issues and communicate business impact effectively to stakeholders.
  • Oversee system patches and releases for cloud applications to ensure seamless operations.
  • Work with external partners to manage service requests and ensure timely resolution.
  • Use SQL for data analysis to drive business insights and decision-making.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience as a business analyst in a retail or e-commerce industry.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact across various levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SQL.
  • Experience in Retail ERP systems (e.g., Oracle-based systems).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
