Position Summary:

The Healthcare, Education, and Not-for-Profit Group (HENFP) at Bank of America is looking for a Credit Analyst I/II to join our dedicated team. This group is integral to the Global Commercial Bank, catering to the financial requirements of various 501(c) not-for-profit clients, including healthcare institutions, educational entities, and traditional not-for-profit organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of creditworthiness and provide insightful analysis to determine the suitability of credit facilities for clients.
  • Collaborate with Credit Officers, Relationship Management, and Risk teams to deliver effective credit solutions.
  • Monitor clients' operational performance and financial health, proactively identifying potential issues and opportunities.
  • Provide comprehensive financial modeling, loan structuring, and industry analysis to support the credit decision-making process.
  • Ensure compliance with credit policies, guidelines, and applicable regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of robust experience in financial analysis, underwriting, and portfolio management, complemented by strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in financial accounting and modeling.
  • Excellent communication abilities, capable of engaging with various stakeholders effectively.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial analysis and portfolio management.
