Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Fire Manufacturing Innovations, a reputable Fabrication shop with extensive expertise in the production of Fire Truck components and compartment management for fire apparatuses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret technical documentation and drawings accurately to complete tasks
  • Conduct various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and other methods as required
  • Maintain welding equipment to ensure safety standards are met and perform regular inspections to identify any defects
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in welding or relevant education
  • Proficiency in operating various welding tools and techniques
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical documentation and drawings
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and commitment to using protective gear
  • Attention to detail, effective time management, and a positive mindset
  • High School diploma/GED preferred
  • Professional certification is advantageous
  • Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings
  • Requirement of steel-toed boots
  • Willingness to undertake a weld test to showcase competencies
Shift Details and Compensation:
  • First shift timing: 6 am - 2:30 pm
  • Overtime allocation varies based on workload
Starting Remuneration:

$19.06 per hour
