## Job Title: Groups Pastor

## Job Summary:

We are seeking a Groups Pastor to join our team at Lakepointe Church. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping people find freedom through groups and have a strong desire to care for people and see them connected to the local church in community.

## Key Responsibilities:

* Identify and recruit new leaders to start Life Groups at the East Dallas campus
* Recruit, develop, and equip volunteer leadership for groups
* Help adults attending the East Dallas campus find a Life Group
* Lead various ministry initiatives at the East Dallas campus
* Lead major Life Group projects/events at the East Dallas campus (Group Connect, Marriage Night, etc)
* Actively engage in monthly All-Staff meetings and worship
* Provide pastoral and leadership direction to adults at the East Dallas campus
* Participate and lead in campus-wide initiatives and event(s)
* Other duties as assigned by your supervisor

* Teachable spirit, humble - pursuing feedback and coaching
* Strong, Biblical knowledge of how to respond to a variety of counseling situations
* BA or BS degree preferred
