Position Overview:
The

part-time Infrastructure Support Specialist


will collaborate with a team of modelers and software developers to oversee, support, and sustain a dependable environment, ensuring the stability and security of various systems or platforms operating within that environment.


Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in system administration for U.S. Government clients
Proficient in managing and administering virtual machines, both Windows and Linux (various distributions)
Experience in administering servers within AWS environments
Skilled in using Ansible
Experience in maintaining system compliance and accreditation
Proficient in troubleshooting technical issues in custom software
Experience coordinating extensive systems administration efforts across multiple technical teams and/or organizations
Possession of TS/SCI clearance with a Polygraph
High School diploma or GED
Ability to obtain IAT Level II certification within 180 days of employment

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with system state management tools, such as Ansible for Linux and Desired State Configuration (DSC) for Windows
Familiarity with source control tools, such as Git
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python
Experience with system scripting languages, such as Bash and PowerShell
Experience in writing technical documentation
Experience in maintaining Elasticsearch or Elastic-stack products
Ability to identify and resolve security advisories and apply vendor patches
Capability to maintain software development infrastructure supporting three environments, including development, testing, and production in a fast-paced, highly technical setting
IAT Level II certification is preferred
