Key Responsibilities:
- Translation and Communication: Provide translation of customer-facing in-game notifications, social media posts, and other communications to ensure seamless communication with our global audience.
- Coordination and Support: Help communicate game bugs, customer issues, and community feedback to teams in Japan, and provide translation and coordination for communication between Japanese staff and US staff.
- Documentation and Records: Translate news announcements, special reports, troubleshooting tickets, player reports, records, and other documentation to ensure accurate and timely information.
- Customer Support: Utilize company tools to provide both direct and indirect support to customers, maintaining confidentiality of all proprietary information.
- Adaptability and Flexibility: Must be able to work non-traditional hours (typically 8 pm to 5 am and including weekends) in order to communicate with personnel in different time zones.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum High School diploma, 4-year degree at an accredited university preferred.
- Language Skills: Fluent or near-fluent in English, and business-level Japanese.
- Experience: Experience with mobile and online games professionally or personally.
- Writing Ability: Strong writing ability in English and Japanese.
