Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Support Agent to join our team at Square Enix America. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality text for in-game and website communications, coordinating global operations and support teams, and providing translation and operational support to internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translation and Communication: Provide translation of customer-facing in-game notifications, social media posts, and other communications to ensure seamless communication with our global audience.
  • Coordination and Support: Help communicate game bugs, customer issues, and community feedback to teams in Japan, and provide translation and coordination for communication between Japanese staff and US staff.
  • Documentation and Records: Translate news announcements, special reports, troubleshooting tickets, player reports, records, and other documentation to ensure accurate and timely information.
  • Customer Support: Utilize company tools to provide both direct and indirect support to customers, maintaining confidentiality of all proprietary information.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Must be able to work non-traditional hours (typically 8 pm to 5 am and including weekends) in order to communicate with personnel in different time zones.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Education: Minimum High School diploma, 4-year degree at an accredited university preferred.
  • Language Skills: Fluent or near-fluent in English, and business-level Japanese.
  • Experience: Experience with mobile and online games professionally or personally.
  • Writing Ability: Strong writing ability in English and Japanese.
