Position Overview:

The Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) operates under the guidance of a Physical Therapist to deliver direct patient care. This role involves employing various therapeutic techniques and assistive tools aimed at enhancing muscle strength, coordination, and overall body alignment. The primary goal is to alleviate discomfort and enhance mobility and functionality.

Experience Needed:

We seek a Physical Therapy Assistant with experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with an expected workload distribution of approximately 50% for each.

Work Schedule:
  • Standard working hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, including a one-hour lunch break.
  • Occasional Saturday shifts are required, with shared responsibilities among therapists, typically amounting to one or two Saturdays per month, with compensatory time off during the week.
Additional Information:
  • Billing and Overtime: The billing cycle operates on a weekly basis. Overtime is compensated at the regular hourly rate plus an additional $10 per hour for any hours exceeding 40 hours per week.
  • Holiday Compensation: Holiday hours are compensated at the regular hourly rate plus an additional $10 per hour.
  • On-Call Rate: This will be specified in the job posting.
  • Housing Considerations: Finding suitable housing may present challenges. It is advisable to submit credentialing documentation in a single batch.
